Cherry Nest DT & *The Scrappiest* Summer fun!

Hello my friends!

This is a great summer for me because good, exciting news keep coming!!!

I would like to announce that the talented Greek scrapbooker Elina Koutsouradi asked me to be a part of the designing team for her site "Cherry Nest"!!! This is a site where you can download pdf documents and print them out whenever you want to use them for your projects!!!

July 15th Challenge OUAS!

I am posting today the new challlenge over at "Once Upon A Sketch"...I know it's a bit late but as most of you know I am on vacation until the end of July so I don't surf in the net much! My first layout for OUAS will be reveald in August!

Journalling Criteria : your journalling has to be a quote (handwritten, printed, rub on etc. ). As an option you can include journalling in the lines on sketch but this is not necessary.

With this simple card,  I would like to wish you all a happy summer and happy summer vacation!!! I am on Samos island at the moment and enjoying the crystal waters and bright sun! I am not surfing in the internet a lot since I prefer surfing on the waves..LOL!!!

#127 "Story time" *The Scrappiest*

Hello everyone!

 There is a new sketch this week at "The Scrappiest" by Liz Chidester!

I decided to use Basic Grey papers "Sweet threads". I know it looks a bit "heavy" but I liked that paper and I wanted  to use it! This layout is about Nefeli and her favorite story "Peter Pan"!

I have used a lot of stickles on the flower petals to give sparkle , glossy accents on the letters to make them shine and I made the fuchsia flower by myself!

This prompt is all about STORYTIME!

Scrapbooking in Greece Guest Designer & a new DT position!!!

Hello my scrapping friends!

I have two reasons to be SUPER excited!!! One reason  is that Elina Koutsouradi asked me to be the guest designer for July at the Greek challenge blog "Scrapbooking in Greece" ! Elina is a very talented scrapbooker who has created a ning site to host all Greek scrapbookers and I would  like to say thank you for that! The second HUGE reason is that Lena Makri, owner of the Greek on line scrapbooking shop "Enjoy Scrapping", asked me to be the permanent designer for her kits!!! How exciting is that? Woohoo!!! She will also have guest designers at times.Check out the announcement here!

So, I combined those two designing positions and I made a layout for Elina's challenge blog, using Lena's yummy summer kit and other products from "Enjoy Scrapping"!!!

This is what I made based on a sketch by Michelle Fowler.:

The tutorial I made for "Scrapbooking in Greece"
is how to create that 3D effect on your circle embellishments!

 

The next photos are not so good but you can see the glossy accents on the paper, bubbles and waves!
