Hello my dear friends!!
It has been a loooong time since I made something just for fun! I went to a crop last Saturday with my crazy, Greek, SUPER talented, scrapbooking friends and had lots of creating fun!!!

Usually, when I go to crops, I always have a DT project to make BUT not this time as I am in no DTs anymore. I am taking a break ;). So, I found a nice sketch over at sketchabilities to play with and a lovely moodboard at Scrapmemory so here is the outcome....

With this layout , I am also entering the challenge at "The studio challenges"

Slide *My Creative Sketches*

Hello my friends! How are you today?
I am down with a flu but that doesn't stop my creativity...I guess nothing can stop me LOL!!!

Since I will be guest designer for "My Creative Scrapbook" kit club in April (woohoo), I was asked to also guest design for their challenge blog "My Creative Sketches". And I did get creative by playing with mists and my Sew Easy to make the background! I took a few photos during the process and I will share them with you! This is the fantastic sketch by Kim Keane!!!

I used 3 colors of Tattered Angel's glimmer mist sunflower, oriental poppy & bahama blue. I used a doily as a mask and strips of paper from the bottom of each 12*12 paper that we usually throw away!

Then I took my scallop sew easy tool and outlined the scallops of the doily!

I cut scalloped patterned paper using my big shot mashine!

Finally, I placed my photo and started the fun...embellishing!

And here is the finished layout...I didn't add a lot of stuff because there are too many colors already and it would seem too loaded! I hope you like it!!

Some close ups!

Materials used:

Cardstock: American Crafts
Patterned paper: Crate paper
Stickers: Crate paper, Echo Park
Flowers: Prima
Buttons: Purple Pumpkin & Lil Red Rocket
Stitching: Sew Easy (We are memory keepers)
Mist: Tattered Angels
Bling

I am waiting to see your gorgeous projects so you can get a chance to win this yummy prize!!!

Have a nice day!!!
