All of my July projects in 1 post!! Sorry but I was on holidays!!xx

Hello my dear friends & followers!!
My blog has been terribly neglected during July but I was on holidays on a Paradise Greek island called "SAMOS"!!! No time for blogging or Facebook...however I took some scrapbooking stuff with me because I cannot imagine myself without getting my fingers dirty for too long!! haha

First of all a reminder!!!

I have also used the color challenge from Get Creative since I had the honor of being the Guest Designer this month!!!

The challenge is to use ONLY red embellishments!!!

*I have used a doily, a spotty button, red twine and 2 different red washi tapes

Scrapmatts!!!

I will also share with you what I've done with my limited stuff during my holidays!!! Some "Studio75" papers, some Scrapmatts, Green Tara & Purple Pumpkin embellies were all I needed!!!

All scrapmatts pieces are from "Nautical design" CB 4059!!! Simply gorgeous!!! Studio75 "Sunshine love" collection & Purple Pumpkin flower,washi tape, tickets, buttons!!!

I have painted the sea shells using distress inks and the rest of the pieces were painted white. I have also added gold stickles for shine!!

My next project is a tag where I have used a mask with texture paste to look like wood which I think is very trendy at the moment!! The grass was misted with dylusions and the butterfly is painted white and covered with gold stickles!

"Starlet"

I know it is winter in Australia but it is summer in Greece

and my layouts have a summer touch on them!!

In both layouts is my daughter Ioli. In the first one she is
wearing my huge sun glasses and looks like a little starlet!!

I have used some real sea shells and a starfish I picked from
the sea the other day!! 

Papers and wooden elements are "Studio 75"!!

Gorgeous flowers and ribbon are of course Green Tara!!

I have used a beautiful Camellia as the center piece of my cluster
 and around it you can see skeleton leaves in hot pink,
brown leaves, turquoise roses and hot pink cherry blossoms!

Ric rac ribbons are great for summer themes as they look like waves!!
 Here I have used two different colours, hot pink and brown!!
The burlap gives a natural feel to it and goes perfectly with the
natural sea elements!!

Yet another cluster with the beautiful Camellia flower in blue!!!

I have also used cherry blossoms in white and red, white 

velvet leaves, my favorite mini tassel ribbon in light blue

 and a lovely red heirloom flower!!

More ric rac ribbons here! There are many fabulous colors to choose
 from in the store!! This metal piece is cut out from a ribbon too which is
 called silver diamante trim! I have also made a bow using that lovely
 thin red/white ribbon! And if you look closely, I have scattered around
some sequins (in both layouts) taken off the sequin trim!!!

"Love-we" - Green Tara

"Love, We"

Hello friends and followers!!

Today I am sharing with you a layout I made for Green Tara using soft colors.

The sketch is by Emma Stafrace.

I used pink glimmer mist and a brick stencil for the background.
I have colored the Scrapmatts chipboard pieces with the same pink
 glimmer mist and some light blue acrylic paint and stickles.

I am IN LOVE with that GORGEOUS huge Damask flower!!!

My cluster consists of 2 lovely pink roses, 2 white velvet leaves
  which match with everything, and a beautiful Azalea!!!

Here is a pink tutu flower, a pink rose, white velvet leaf &
some great Green Tara  white lace.

Mini album

"A Beautiful Princess"

Now this is an album inspired by Kelly Anne.
A friend of mine saw a video of this mini album and asked me to
 make her one that looked like it!!

So this is what I came up with, and of course it is loaded with all the
 gorgeous stuff that was in my Green Tara  DT box!! Woohoo!!

Here you can see a pink and a purple rose, a pink Azalea, a
 purple velvet leaf  and a gorgeous butterfly!!!

For this cluster I have used a beautiful purple Sakura flower,
 a pink Heirloom flower, skeleton and purple velvet leaves,
  roses and a pink Azalea.

Another beautiful and huge butterfly, a skeleton leaf the bud n' bow
ribbon in pink and the gorgeous brushed sequin ribbon.

Everything is covered up with gold Stickles.

"Discover-live dream" & "Roadtrip" - Scrapmatts

"Discover, live, dream"

Hello my friends!!xx

This is one of my favorite layouts!! It is about me and my adventurous spirit!!

I like travelling, exploring, trying new things and dare!!! I have many dreams yet to accomplish but that keeps me going!!

For this layout I have used LOTS of beautiful Scrapmatts pieces!!!

CB4050 Assorted Words 03, CB5021 Nested Shapes 07, CB1136 Assorted Words 02, ATC10-022 Film Strip 06, CB5035 Hot Air Balloons 01

As you see, the film strip frame and the star are left raw!! The air balloon and the word "Dream" were painted white, then I applied some glimmer glam (tattered angels) randomly and went around the edges with black ink.

These gorgeous flowers, doilies, buttons and washi tape are all Purple Pumpkin!!!!!!

Every year we travel to my husband's village by car at least 4 times!! It is a 4 hour trip and it has become a routine for us and thankfully for the kids too!!

"Road trip"

This layout was a challenge for our DT. We could not use any embellies and only 2 pieces of patterned paper. Well, instead of paper I have used a little bit of washi tape from Purple Pumpkin...I hope you like it!! I had so much fun making it!!

I have used CB4051 Assorted Words 04, CB1072 Gears 01, CB5021 Nested Shapes 07

The star & small gear were painted with red acrylic paint, the edges with black ink and I went over it with some stickles to make it shine. The negative piece of the gears was painted black and randomly painted red. The title pieces were sprayed with dylusions turquoise and yellow which gave them a gorgeous green color!!!

The background was made using stamps, mists and a studio Calico "sun" stencil!
