My farewell post for Green Tara along with 13@rts,Purple Pumpkin & Scrapmatts products!!

This is my farewell post...I had a great time creating with Green Tara's amazing products!!!

A HUGE thank you to Alison O'Reilly who believed in me and for all the lovely goodies she sent me!! She is VERY generous and a big thank you to Di Garling for being a wonderful coordinator!!

It has been a wonderful experience!!!

Now, let's go on to my projects!

I had a blast creating this canvas which is a gift to a friend! All mediums used are 13@rts and flowers/ribbons are of course Green Tara!

Here you can see a red lace pearl flower, a cream cherry blossom, Aster batik, olive satin rosette and cobweb ribbon!!

And that cute babushka button by Purple Pumpkin!!!

and here I have used the Aster batik, red lace pearl, a moss wild rose and cobweb again.And PP cream fabric button!

I love making albums so here is one with yellow and lilac/purple colors!

A big butterfly with a magical tail which is actually a huge Green Tara cluster with:

lilac camellia, azaleas, roses and cherry blossoms!!

Isn't this PP butterfly button the cutest???

The pink button and pink crochet doily are Purple Pumpkin!!

For these tags I have used sequin ribbon, gold fine metallic mesh and self adhesive trim gold!
All chipboard pieces are Scrapmatts!!!!

"At Kindy" for Purple Pumpkin!!

Hello dear friends!!

I know I don't blog very often lately but I have been super busy making albums for people that ask me to!! This of course is a great honor and an acknowledgement of my hard work!! The bad thing is that I don't have so much free time to make things for ME!! Thank God I have a few Dts left that urge me to make something!!

 Here is an everyday life cute little layout with a photograph that Ioli's teacher had given me when she 1st went to kindy!! Or is it called pre-school?? Anyway....

I have used a purple butterfly flair button, this cute little green/purple birdie fabric button and purple twine!

Here you can see a star button, a small resin flower, a small purple doily, 3 different washi tapes and this awesome meter ribbon was in a Purple Pumpkin kit!!

"Remember" - mixed media layout

"Remember"

Hello my friends!!

This is a layout I made about my grandmother and great-grandmother!!

The base is chipboard so I could easily play around with mixed media
 techniques, misting,stamping, heat embossing!!! Here in Greece, fall is
coming so I have used fall colors!!!

I have used this gorgeous new Scrapmatts chipboard Window CB5102, which I have covered with gesso, distress inks (orange, green, brown) and distress heat embossing powder in walnut stain! The word "Remember" and the swirls below my main cluster, were made the same way but instead of the embossing powder, I used crackle accents on top!!

I have also used a small pigeon painted white!

For my main cluster I have used the beautiful Green Tara Heirloom,

 a yellow rose, a few cherry blossoms, a rosette, loop trim,

natural jute and a white azalea!!

I have also used Purple Pumpkin fabric and wooden buttons, craft tag and crochet doilies!!

In this close up you can see a small brown rose and the
 gorgeous bud & bow in brown/ivory!

And a smaller cluster with roses, cherry blossom, a brown leaf, 
white paper flower, loop trim and burlap!!

This layout was based on the sketch by Liz Chidester for My creative scrapbook which I have reversed.

and I am also participating in the contest of a Greek online shop called Memories trend.

"Fake photo smile" - Purple Pumpkin & TCR

Hello friends and followers!!!

A new month comes with a new sketch challenge from Purple Pumpkin!!!

And this time it is a very inspiring sketch because you can play with mixed media techniques to make the background!! Take a look at the sketch by Debbie Burns!!

 And my take on it....My DD Ioli was photographed at school and she is so cute with her "fake" photo smile haha I just had to scrap it!!!

I have used LOTS of Purple Pumpkin embellies such as: washi tapes, twine, fabric buttons, wooden button, flair button, felt & croshet doilies.

My color inspiration was from "The color room" and this wonderful palette...
