Hello wonderful friends and followers!!
We are all searching for fun and inexpensive ideas to create our own unique embellishments. One great idea is to use bottle tops! You can find them in craft stores or use the ones you have at home after gently opening a bottle.
There are so many different ways you can use them! You can make little cute magnets, jewelry pendants or just use them as accents to your layouts, mini albums and of the page projects. You can flatten them or leave them bulky in order to put little bits inside! My layout has a shabby chic style so I will show you how to make it.

Step by step
1. I don’t like too bulky embellies so I used my big shot to flatten it. Close all tabs of the multipurpose platform, place the bottle top with the flat side down and use just one cutting plate on top. If you don't have a machine, lay your bottle top with the pointy bits down on a wooden cutting board and give it a few gentle taps with a hammer.
2. Use an one inch punch and cut a paper circle
3. Use glue or gel medium to attach the paper on the background
4. Place a small charm inside & cover it all with glossy accents
5. While still wet, poor inside some micro bids and glitter randomly then let aside to dry

Designer tips:
-Use the die cuts of the paper collection you are working with and sew them together to create impressive banners!
-Tear your papers apart randomly by hand in a way that the white core is showing. You achieve a great distressed shabby chic look!
-Use two different fonts for interest and contrast.
-To create the small pink circles, I dipped a small paper spool into acrylic paint.
