Slide *My Creative Sketches*

Hello my friends! How are you today?
I am down with a flu but that doesn't stop my creativity...I guess nothing can stop me LOL!!!

Since I will be guest designer for "My Creative Scrapbook" kit club in April (woohoo), I was asked to also guest design for their challenge blog "My Creative Sketches". And I did get creative by playing with mists and my Sew Easy to make the background! I took a few photos during the process and I will share them with you! This is the fantastic sketch by Kim Keane!!!

I used 3 colors of Tattered Angel's glimmer mist sunflower, oriental poppy & bahama blue. I used a doily as a mask and strips of paper from the bottom of each 12*12 paper that we usually throw away!

Then I took my scallop sew easy tool and outlined the scallops of the doily!

I cut scalloped patterned paper using my big shot mashine!

Finally, I placed my photo and started the fun...embellishing!

And here is the finished layout...I didn't add a lot of stuff because there are too many colors already and it would seem too loaded! I hope you like it!!

Some close ups!

Materials used:

Cardstock: American Crafts
Patterned paper: Crate paper
Stickers: Crate paper, Echo Park
Flowers: Prima
Buttons: Purple Pumpkin & Lil Red Rocket
Stitching: Sew Easy (We are memory keepers)
Mist: Tattered Angels
Bling

I am waiting to see your gorgeous projects so you can get a chance to win this yummy prize!!!

Have a nice day!!!
xoxo

Once Upon A...Sketch March 15th.

March 15th Challenge

Journalling Criteria:   Finish this line "I miss...".
Tell us about someone you are missing right now and why. Your journalling can be as long or as little as you like, but we want to hear all about someone you are missing!

Ideas for journalling: missing time alone with your partner, missing your old self, missing your children because they are off to school, university or living away from you, missing your children being young, missing a friend you have not seen in a while, someone in another country, someone that has passed away, a mentor whose advice you could use, a relative you wish you lived closer to, someone you regret having an argument with, missing a pet

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on this sketch and theme and instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote.
YOU MUST combine our journalling criteria with this sketch..

You bring sunshine *Enjoy Scrapping*

Hello my friends!
Happy woman's day!!!!!
As you can see I have been busy...the next few months will be SOOO creative!!!
I am just happy I feel better emotionally and I feel creative! If only I had more free time..If only I could be a "Stay at home mum"...LOL!!!

This is a layout I created for our favorite Greek online shop "Enjoy Scrapping"!!! Make sure to stop by their blog because they have a yummy giveaway especially for woman's day! *unfortunately this does not apply to international scrappers*.

I used the kit "Be Amazing" that features the FANTASTIC My Mind's Eye papers! I am in LOVE with ALL their new collections!!! This one is supposed to be mostly for boys but as you know, I have two little girls!! That did not bother me at all, since the papers are so versatile!!

So, here is a layout with my precious little sweet face Ioli!!!!

Everything I have used is included in the kit except the twine/string on the buttons. Even the yellow glimmer mist is part of the kit! Unfortunately it was sold out within just a few hours...WOW...so you must be quick each time a new kit is available!! Don't forget to check your email notifications and facebook!!
Here is a photo of the kit:
