Last project for Scrapiniec as GDT - "At Top Kapi" and NOV IAR Challenge

Hello dear crafters!

This is my last project as a guest designer for Scrapiniec. It was a great honor and I had a lot of fun playing with all the beautiful chipboard designs!! Thank you very much! This layout is devoted to Asica Panewka because her favorite color is lilac :) . For the background I used a stencil and 3 different shades of purple/lilac distress inks. The chipboard pieces were also painted with distress inks, white paint and stickles. I hope I have inspired you the last three months! Remember, there are no rules! Just let yourself free to create ART from your heart and have fun!! Hugs from Greece!!xoxo

p.s I am entering the IAR challenge as well! All roses are IAR!

"Our time together"

Hello my dear friends!

This is a photo of my girls playing with the snow and having fun at my husband's village!
I have played with 13@rts products, Green Tara flowers and lace and some Scrapmatts chipboard! You can see a lot of stamping too using stamps from Prima, Glitz and Kaisercraft!

I am participating in the lovely mood board challenge in SATW!

"Turkey" for Scrapiniec!

Hello dear crafters,

Today I am sharing with you a page I made to remember our lovely time in Istanbul. I have used warm colors in order to match the atmosphere of the city! The chipboard pieces were mainly painted with gelatos and gold glitter. For the background, I glued some pieces of chipboard, covered them with gesso and then I sprayed with water and several mists. Some stamping as well and then I created my cluster using also some rope and burlap to give texture!

This layout was made for Scrapiniec as I am their guest designer and I am also participating in "Words & paintery" for the very inspiriring color combo!

"Dreamer" for Scrapiniec

Hello dear friends!!
 I would like to share with you today a layout I made featuring my older daughter "Nefeli". She has a great look on her face so it was a perfect match with the title "Dreamer". The tip for this page is to use two different papers glued together and in the middle, to place some lace in order to give texture, depth and a shabby chic look!! 

With this layout I participate in two challenges. ARTastic for the use of flowers (that;s easy for me lol) and Scrapki for using leaves.

I must apologize for the dark photos but they were taken mid-week when I get home from work late so there is not enough light :( ....

"Friends forever"

Hello dear friends!!

This is a project I created as a guest designer at Scrapiniec! A scrapbooking layout for me is all about the memories. It is meaningless to use an artistic photo as I want to create albums for each of my children and when they look at them to be able to say..."Oh, remember this/when/where" and not just say "Nice piece of art". It is very easy to choose an artistic photo from the internet to match your papers perfectly but it is difficult to use your own photos, especially when they have many colors! So, In this case I decided to create my own background!!!

I was inspired by this amazing mood board over at "Scrap around the world". It is sooo me!!


I am also participating in "Crafty life challenges and "I am roses" (I have tones of their flowers and leaves, here I used roses!!) as anything goes!!

And this is my layout!! One of my favorites!!

Steps:
1. Cover a white cardstock with a gel medium
2. Paint stripes of different colors using gelatos
3. Spray the whole paper with water and dry out using a heat gun
4. Apply another layer of gel medium
5. Grab your favorite stencil, cover with versamark and use white embossing powder
6. Final step is stamping, splashing and feel free to use any embellishments you like!!

"Beautiful", a layout just because....!!!!!!

Hello my dear friends!!
It has been a loooong time since I made something just for fun! I went to a crop last Saturday with my crazy, Greek, SUPER talented, scrapbooking friends and had lots of creating fun!!!

Usually, when I go to crops, I always have a DT project to make BUT not this time as I am in no DTs anymore. I am taking a break ;). So, I found a nice sketch over at sketchabilities to play with and a lovely moodboard at Scrapmemory so here is the outcome....

"Timeless" - 13@rts


Hello dear friends and followers!!xx
It was my turn to participate in 13@rts monthly challenge and here are the rules:

Love in Timeless colours

An artwork with Timeless colors and valentine (or love) accents.
Your artwork should contain:
- Orange and navy blue should be main colors (no more than 30% of your artwork should be filled with other colors)
- You mustn't use pink and red colors
- Use at least one medium.
