SnP - Love Spring, art journaling

Η άνοιξη είναι αγαπημένο θέμα!! Ειδικά για εμένα που λατρεύω τα χαρούμενα και έντονα χρώματα!
Στο blog του Scraps 'n pieces, θα βρειτε project της ομάδας που θα σας δώσουν μεγάλη έμπνευση!!

 Αυτή τη φορά αποφάσισα να παίξω με τα infusions για το background. Ρίχνεις τη σκόνη, ψεκάζεις με νερό και στεγνώνεις. Έτοιμο ένα πολύ καλλιτεχνικό background, γρήγορα κι εύκολα!

 Τα συγκεκριμένα χαρτιά της Karola είναι η χαρά του fussy cutting! Έχει πολλά στοιχεία που μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως επίκεντρο της σελίδας σας.  Με μερικές σφραγίδες γίνεται ακόμα πιο ενδιαφέρον το background, δένουν όλα μαζί και πετυχαίνετε το επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα.

January challenge SnP!!!! Baby, it's cold outside!

Χρόνια Πολλά, εύχομαι σε όλους υγεία και δημιουργικότητα. Να έχετε ένα υπέροχο 2018!!

"Baby it's cold outside" είναι το θέμα μας για τον Γενάρη...και όντως, κάνει κρύο έξω, ελπίζω τουλάχιστον να ρίξει και στην Αθήνα λίγο χιονάκι!

Υπέροχο το moodboard του Scraps 'n pieces και αυτό το μήνα!! Εμπνεύστηκα απο το χιόνι, τις χιονονιφάδες, το πουλάκι, το σκούρο καφέ και το κίτρινο/πορτοκαλί χρώμα. Έτσι δημιούργησα ένα χειμωνιάτικο τοπίο στο art journal μου.

 Το πέρασα όλο ένα αχνό κίτρινο ακρυλικό χρώμα αναμιγνύοντας dylusions paint “lemon zest” με λευκό. Απλώνεται πανεύκολα με ένα μωρομάντηλο ;) 

 Μετά σχεδίασα τους λόφους και τους έβαψα με “ground coffee” και λευκό. Με stencil και πάστα μοντελισμού έκανα τις χιονονιφάδες και τα δέντρα. 

Χρησιμοποίησα και glitter Stickles για να τονίσω κάποια σημεία και να δώσω ενδιαφέρον. Τα πουλάκια τα έβαψα και έκανα τη σκίαση χρησιμοποιώντας Faber Castell Big Brush Pens. 

Ελπίζω να σας εμπνεύσει η δημιουργία μου και να δοκιμάσετε κάτι αντίστοιχο! Αφήστε τη φαντασία σαςελεύθερη… :D

SnP October Challenge!!

Hello dear friends!!!

There is a new challenge up to Scraps n pieces blog!!

Here is the WONDERFUL Mood board!!!

For this art journal page I obviously got inspired by the lovely photo of the vintage rusted car! I instantly fell in love with it!

For the color combo I was also inspired by the photo and I used wool and the quote from the mood board!

Infusions frenzy!!!

I am in love with this product! There are so many possibilities!

For this background I used the following steps:

• I primed the whole page with white gesso

• I spread the "A bit jaded" infusion with some white glue using a paint brush

• I did some stamping using background stamps randomly

• Next step was to use a stencil and apply modeling paste randomly on the layout

• I then covered the pages with clear crackle medium

• When it dried, I sprinkled some "Rusty car" Infusions and sprayed water over it

• I created the composition making sure there are some metal elements to match the whole concept ;)

• The edges were darkened using dylusions acrylic paint in order to create some depth

• To highlight the whole thing, I used some coper acrylic paint with my finger, again randomly

Long time no see...I have had a break from design teams for some time now but you know...when you have art and creativity flowing inside of you, you cannot resist it for too long. I needed a chance and a motive to start creating again and the Team of Scraps n' Pieces has given me this chance and I really appreciate that! Thank you very much, we are going to have lots of fun!!

While I was on holiday, I made this art journaling page out of "scraps and pieces" that I had in a small bag, which I call travel kit. The background was previously made (at home) by "Infusions". I got them a while back and I wanted to try them so I made some experiments, mixing colors and that color blast background, is the result. "Infusions" are quite unpredictable, I recommend them to people who are not very "neat", who like to get dirty and play around. I loved the outcome, the vibrant colors and the whole procedure!! I just dropped the powder and sprayed some water on top. There are many other ways to use them but we will figure it out in other projects ;)
