"Dare" - a layout for Scrapiniec!

Hello dear friends!

I am sharing my new layout made for Scrapiniec! The title of this layout is "Dare"! Don't be afraid to try new things, new mediums, new techniques, play with colors and get dirty! It is a surprisingly liberating feeling! This is what I did in this layout! I partially covered my paper with gesso, then added modeling paste using a stencil. Next move is to start spraying your mists consecutively with water! If you are not happy with the result, you can add color using a brush onto the concrete points that you wish or remove paint by covering with gesso. Next step is random stamping (something I cannot live without)! Find pieces of paper (from your scraps) and embellies that match the colors and build your cluster. In order to give a lot of depth, use pieces of thick chipboard to glue your papers together! This way you have big gaps in between to tack in your bits and pieces ;). A small tip for your chip embellies, I always cover them either with stickles or glossy accents or I heat emboss them in order to make them stand out!
Greetings from hot Greece!! Still 25 degrees!! Can you believe it?? LOL!!!!

However, I am trying to get into the Fall spirit so I combined the theme of Fall from scrapki-wyzwaniowo with the colors from the beautiful moodboard of scrap Africa!!!

And here is the result!!

"Friends forever"

Hello dear friends!!

This is a project I created as a guest designer at Scrapiniec! A scrapbooking layout for me is all about the memories. It is meaningless to use an artistic photo as I want to create albums for each of my children and when they look at them to be able to say..."Oh, remember this/when/where" and not just say "Nice piece of art". It is very easy to choose an artistic photo from the internet to match your papers perfectly but it is difficult to use your own photos, especially when they have many colors! So, In this case I decided to create my own background!!!

I was inspired by this amazing mood board over at "Scrap around the world". It is sooo me!!

I am also participating in "Crafty life challenges and "I am roses" (I have tones of their flowers and leaves, here I used roses!!) as anything goes!!

And this is my layout!! One of my favorites!!

"Friends forever"

Steps:
1. Cover a white cardstock with a gel medium
2. Paint stripes of different colors using gelatos
3. Spray the whole paper with water and dry out using a heat gun
4. Apply another layer of gel medium
5. Grab your favorite stencil, cover with versamark and use white embossing powder
6. Final step is stamping, splashing and feel free to use any embellishments you like!!

And many close ups 'cause there are many details:

Thanks for visiting!!
Have a nice weekend!!
