"Together" -- Bird is the word!

Well...today I have mixed feelings...I wanted to share some happy news about my feature at "The color Room" but my mood is so bad because a good friend of mine had a great loss and it had a big impact on me...I can't understand why bad things happen to such nice people...well...HE knows better I guess...

Anyway....as always..life moves on...and time heals...

There is a new challenge word for you at "Bird Is The Word"

"TOGETHER"

 Today is a special word release day because.........................our new design team will be revealing their very first Bird is the Word projects!! 

So head on over to get some inspiration by the really talented fellow DT members!!!

Here is my take...It's a bit busy but I wanted to make a fun-happy-bright-childish layout about the playground and the slide they love so much!

I want to thank Katerina again (lol) for letting me use her sewing machine! You can tell it's my 1st attempt to use a machine..hahaha the stitching around the page is a bit unorthodox but I still like it because it is fun, like the rest of the layout!

And again I used a bit of gesso,mists and acrylic paints....

and also my favorite  "sew easy" to hand stitch a little bit!

The papers are Echo Park "playground" and you can find them at "Enjoy Scrapping"! Perfect line for playground fun days!!!
